Francisco Ruiz Jr., infamously known best as "Paco" or "2-Pac," age 45, was born on September 20, 1973 in Palm Springs, CA to Frank Sr. and Maria Ruiz. He passed away on November 27, 2018 in Palm Springs, CA. His funeral service will be held at the Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral City, CA on Saturday, December 8th at 10:30 a.m.

After attending Palm Springs High School, he spent seventeen years working for the Palm Springs Waste Disposal. Later in life, he pursued a career as a lineman with Cochran Communications Construction in Cathedral City, CA and was with the company for more than two years. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends building memories and watching the Cowboys play.

He lived his entire life in Cathedral City where he was the proud father of two children Aileen and Christopher Ruiz and one stepdaughter Darlene Castillo. He is survived by his parents Frank Sr. and Maria Ruiz, his children Aileen Ruiz and Christopher Ruiz, his siblings Erica Kniffin and her husband Dan Kniffin, his brother Charlie Ruiz and Julia Nunez, and his sister Lisa and her husband John Regla, his nieces and nephews Charisma Nunez, Yanize Regla, Elyas Ruiz, Julian Regla, Jenysa Kniffen, Ethan Ruiz, and Aden Regla.
