Jason Garrett Franklin

Jason Garrett Franklin was born on May 6, 1992, in Los Angeles, California He came into this world the happiest baby bringing joy to everyone around him. He lived his life trying to make a positive difference to everyone he came in contact with. He commanded every room he was in. Whether it was his personality, his dance moves, his laugh, or any one of his many fun and cherished traits, he made us all smile. He grew up in Simi Valley, CA and attended Chaminade College Prep. He loved sports, playing baseball and football throughout his life. He was so excited to get the opportunity to play football at ASU, eventually earning a scholarship. He took his personality public during the last part of his college years and beyond as a host and entertainer with shows such as "Franklin Knows Best." He created his own blog, "Excuse My Moderation" where he discussed all sorts of subjects. His family and friends meant everything to him. He was a one of a kind with a heart of gold.

Jason passed away at the age of 26 on July 14, 2018. Jason's celebration of life will be held on July 28th at 10:00am at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills in the Hall of Liberty Building, with a reception following at North Ranch Country Club. There will also be a viewing on Friday, July 27th from 4-8 pm at Forest Lawn in the Faith Chapel. He will never be forgotten.

Jason is survived by his parents, Jan and Gregg, and by his aunts Pam and Sherri.
