Gilberto Tamayo Cardenas

Gilberto Tamayo Cardenas, 64, born on May 14, 1953, in Mexicali BC, Mexico, passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2017 from injuries he sustained in a car accident. He is preceded in death by his first wife Minerva Tamayo, father Pedro Tamayo Salas & his Brother Mario Tamayo Cardenas all of Mexicali BC, Mexico. Gilberto is survived by his wife Ana Lilia Palestino Tamayo, his two daughters Melissa Tamayo Guerrero and Paulina Tamayo, his mother Maria Guadalupe Cardenas, his sister Ofelia T. Cano, and his two brothers, Jorge Tamayo Cardenas and Miguel Angel Tamayo Cardenas.and his grandson Liam Guerrero as well as many nieces and nephews.

Gilberto was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and grandpa, whom many will remember as a funny, mellow, down to earth individual. He will be greatly missed by all and as he would say 'Todo esta Bien" ("Everything is Fine")
Gilberto resided in Coachella, California at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Coachella, CA.
