Marjorie Derelys Lambert

Marjorie Derelys Lambert, 91, born on August 10, 1924 in Kansas, passed away March 23, 2016. She resided in Toluca Lake, California, at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, California.

At 91 years of age, Marjorie passed away March 23, 2016, in her home in Toluca Lake California.
Margie and her late husband Rene Lambert founded Rene's Van & Storage, Inc. in 1945. Side by side Marjorie and Rene loved working in the business with their three sons and daughters in law. The success of Rene's Van & Storage helped them to purchase an old studio that was in need of vast repairs. They relocated their moving companies to this new location and began to manage them ideally in center of Hollywood, as they continued renovation on the property.
In 1984 they opened Ren-Mar Studios with the slogan, "your home in the heart of Hollywood." Ren-Mar evolved into a quaint, warm and friendly rental facility for the motion picture and television industry. To accommodate this action they relocated their moving companies to a new location to facilitate studio expansion. Marjorie and Rene in their lifetimes had four separate moving companies that were run side by side throughout certain periods of their lives, yet keeping them separate as one.
Margie and Her husband loved horses and horse racing. Inspired by this love in 1989 they purchased a farm in Temecula and began breeding and racing thoroughbred race horses under the stable name Ren-Mar Thoroughbreds, Inc. They had great winning successes with many horses such as Sky Jack, F J'sPace, A Lil Excess and most recently Dancingtothestars along with many other great equine athletes. Other ventures such as Ren-Mar Enterprises, Ren-Mar Set Design and Rene's Boutique kept things interesting.
Marjorie is survived by her three sons Russell Sr, Rene Jr. and Ricky along with 11 grandchildren and an abundance of great grandchildren and one great, great, grandson.
