Zoila Sigala, a beloved mother, devoted wife, a cherished friend, and most loving Grandmother passed away peacefully on July 24, 2025, in Brea, California. Born on December 26, 1956, in El Salvador, Zoila embodied kindness and warmth throughout her life. She was a beacon of joy, radiating love and generosity to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Zoila will be remembered for her infectious laugh and her culinary prowess that brought family and friends together. A great cook, she had a unique ability to transform simple ingredients into heartfelt meals that nourished not just the body but also the soul. Her kitchen was a place of love and laughter, where the aroma of her delicious cooking welcomed all.
Her creativity extended beyond the kitchen; Zoila loved to sew, knit, and crochet, crafting beautiful items with her skilled hands. She also relished the quieter moments spent watching her beloved novelas, finding joy in their stories.
Most importantly, Zoila dedicated herself to helping others. She always opened her heart and home to those in need, often going out of her way to lend a helping hand or offer her support. Her proudest accomplishment was not a singular moment but a lifetime of giving, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Ruben, and her children, Chris, Fernando, Daniela, and Marlene. She also leaves behind all her Grandchildren who she cherished and loved more than anything. Together, they will carry forward her legacy of kindness and love, remembering her with every shared meal and cherished memory.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Zoila’s life during visitation on August 27, 2025, at Forest Lawn - Cypress - Hope Chapel from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held the following day, August 28, 2025, at Forest Lawn - Cypress - Patriots Chapel, starting at 11:30 AM and concluding at 12:30 PM.
Though she rests now, Zoila's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Even though her life early on was difficult, it grew to a beautiful tapestry woven with love, laughter, and the spirit of giving. She will be greatly missed but forever cherished.
