Zena Mircheff

Born June 4, 1924 in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Christo and Eugenia (Shishkoff) Gershanoff. Youngest of four children, Zena was predeceased by brother John and sisters Christina and Mary.

Zena passed away peacefully at her home at The Retreat at The Oaks of Pasadena on January 2, 2013.

She was the loving wife of Austin Mircheff who preceded her in death, mother of Austin K. Mircheff, Jr., and Victoria Eugenia Wells (Michael). She leaves four beloved grandchildren, Allison Wells Davis (Seth), Alexander Kosta Mircheff (Brianna Fuller), Grant Michael Wells (Amanda Schug) and Sarah Mircheff Boorstin (Eric); three beautiful great grandchildren, Emma Grace Davis, Ava Elizabeth Davis and Blake Michael Wells; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was a talented artist, but gave up an Art Institute scholarship to work in her father's shop. When she married, she worked in the Mircheff family's business. After the family moved to California, she worked as a bookkeeper. Family was always her first priority, and she loved bringing all together for delicious meals followed by scrumptious desserts.

Services will be held at 2:30 pm, Tuesday, January 8, in the Old North Church at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles, CA.
