Zdravko Ilić

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Zdravko Ilić on May 27, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Zdravko was born on August 19, 1937 from Šima and Ivan Ilić, in Miletina, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He immigrated to Los Angeles, CA in 1968 with his wife Zora and their daughter Helena. He later had two more children, Shelly & Sandy. He worked as a carpenter, building cabinets, pool tables, and later landing his dream job at Universal Studios which he loved.

Zdravko will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to his family, love for sports, amazing cooking skills, and the incredible sense of humor that kept everyone around him laughing. His love, laughter, and strength will remain with us always.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Zora; his loving daughters, Helena, Shelly (Ruben), and Sandy (Lee); and his cherished granddaughters, Britni and Ali. He is also survived by his brother-in-laws Antas (Mirjana), Pero (Francika), Jakov (Rosa), Gojko, and sister-in-laws Ana and Šima.

Funeral services will be held on June 13, 2025, at 1:30 PM at Forest Lawn – Glendale, in the Church of the Recessional.
