Zadie Turner

Zadie Mae Turner (Wynn), born on June 01, 1933, in Canal Point, FL, transitioned to be with the Lord, peacefully in her sleep, on October 15, 2023.  Zadie was the beloved 3rd of 8 children born to Zada Wynn and Reverend Willie H. Wynn, who precededended her in death.  She was the loving wife of Jasper “Jack” Turner, and from this union their daughters Carolyn, Monica, Yolanda and son Clarence “Rocky” were born.  Zadie leaves her sisters and brothers Wilhemenia Fryer, Lula Mae Mack, Cobb Marvis Wynn and Jimmie Wynn to celebrate her glorious life. Zadie was preceded in death by her husband Jack, brothers Ellis (Chuck) Wynn, Reverend Willie Wynn, Jr. and sister Queenie Mae Wynn.  She also leaves her son-in-laws Ronald Smith (Carolyn) and Bernard Edwards (Monica) as well as her grandchildren Burrell, Terrell, Rocqual, Brandie (Brandon), Amber (Willie) William, Erik, Jason, Joshua.  Zadie also leaves her great-grandchildren Jalen, Anthony, Jada, Kristionne, Kynnedi, Joshua Jr., Jordyn, Elijah and Ethan as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Zadie Mae was loved by all who knew her.  Her personality was infectious and could draw you in - in an instance!  She loved the Lord and she loved her church, Community Baptist in Compton.   Zadie sang soprano in the church choir and occassionally sang lead, which she thoroughly enjoyed.  We loved her dearly, and will miss her greatly but we are so blessed this beautiful being was in our lives.  We will see you again...
