Zachary Weaver Toll

Zachary Toll, 35, passed away on February 23, 2026. Zachary was born on May 18, 1990, in Los Angeles, California, to Sandra Ann Weaver-Toll and James Edward Toll. He is survived by his wife, Danielle Louise Toll; newborn daughter, EvaJoelle Abigail Toll; father, James Edward Toll and his wife Maida Toll; brother, Alexander Toll; grandmother, Charlotte Toll; and step brother Romeo Galoy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Ann Weaver-Toll.

Zachary graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara, with a degree in Geography while serving honorably in the United States Marine Corps. After graduation Zachary completed an internship with NASA, where he was selected to lead his team, and the results of their research investigation was published. He later moved to the Washington, D.C. area to attend George Mason University, where he earned a Master’s degree in Geoinformation Technology. During his time at George Mason, he worked as a teaching assistant and researcher and was recognized for his innovative application of geoinformatics and geospatial research techniques in the analysis of terrorism and conflict dynamics.

Following graduate school, Zachary earned a highly competitive internship with the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, where his talent and dedication quickly led to a full-time position within the agency. Through his exceptional work ethic, leadership, and commitment to advancing the field, he earned multiple awards and promotions to positions of significant responsibility, including Acting Branch Chief and Operations Lead for his assigned area. Zachary was also awarded a scholarship to pursue a Ph.D. in Computer Science, specializing in the development of artificial intelligence models from the ground up.

On July 11, 2020 Zachary met the love of his life, Danielle, and the two were married April 02,2023. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, adventure and growth.

Zachary enjoyed gaming with “the boys,” visiting amusement parks and Dave & Buster’s with his wife, and spending time with family and friends at gatherings both large and small. He loved animals unconditionally and found joy in caring for them. Zachary had an exceptional talent for computers and technology. He built high-capacity computers with terabyte-scale memory and was highly skilled in computer coding and algorithms. Zachary quickly mastered Bitcoin soon after their introduction, and learned how to mine them and the technology behind it.

Zachary will be remembered for his unique sense of humor, unwavering integrity, sharp intellect, kindness, and dedication to everything he pursued.

On June 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM a Celebration of Life service will be held at The Wee Kirk o’ the Heather Chapel at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 1712 S Glendale Ave, Glendale, CA 91205 with reception to follow at Castaway Burbank, 1250 E Harvard Rd, Burbank, CA 91501.
