2024年3月9日梁如煥先生在家人陪伴下於Alhambra仁愛醫院安詳離世,享年76歲。
梁如煥先生於1947年農曆8月初2出生於中國,是梁壽鵬和戴培坤的摯愛兒子。在中國文化大革命期間,他逃難至香港,後與黃敏嫻相遇,兩人度過歷時52年的婚姻。是志煒、志和、志雲和凱縈的慈愛父親,也是玉華、丞智、祖賢、恩瑜和諾賢的珍愛祖父。他的離世深深地令家人、朋友和所有認識他的人感到哀傷。
梁如煥先生是一位廚師,將近40年的光陰奉獻給了他的廚藝事業。為了給孩子更好的機會,他於1991年移民美國。他獨自在美國拉斯維加斯工作了一年多,待至1993年全家才能和他在加州洛杉磯相聚。1997年,他與妻子在洛杉磯 Grand Central Market 開設了自己的餐館-China Cafe。15年來,他以美味佳餚和熱情款待認識了一群熟客,直至2012年退休。除了廚藝之外,梁如煥珍惜與親人共度的時光。他的記憶將永遠活在家人和認識他的人的心中。
紀念梁如煥先生的追悼會將於Forrest Lawn, Covina Hills 舉行。在4月11日下午2時至5時,在追思禮堂 (Memory Chapel) 舉行探視。在4月12日下午3時半,在Forrest Lawn, Covina Hills Gate集合以後前往墓旁舉行Niche-side儀式。梁如煥的家人懇請您以慈善捐贈的形式,向您選擇的慈善機構或組織捐款來代替送花。
晚餐將於下午5時在蒙特利公園的NBC海寶海鮮酒家舉行。

Yu Woon Leung, aged 76, peacefully passed away on March 9, 2024, at Alhambra Hospital surrounded by his family.
Born on August 2, 1947, in China, Yu Woon was the beloved son of Shou Peng Leung and Pei Kun Dai. He fled to Hong Kong in the late 1960s during the Cultural Revolution in China, after several attempts. In Hong Kong, he met Mun Han Wong, and they shared over 50 years of marriage. Yu Woon was a devoted father to William, Matt, Vincent, and Holly, and a cherished grandfather to Natalie, Martin, Joseph, Charlotte, and Benjamin. His passing is deeply mourned by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Yu Woon Leung dedicated over 40 years of his life to his career as a chef. He embarked on his culinary journey in Hong Kong, refining his skills over the years. In pursuit of better opportunities for his children, he immigrated to the United States in 1991, initially settling in Las Vegas alone for a year before the rest of the family joined him in 1993. In 1997, Yu and his wife opened their own restaurant, China Cafe, at Grand Central Market in Los Angeles. For 15 years, he delighted customers with his delicious dishes and warm hospitality until his retirement in 2012. Beyond his culinary endeavors, Yu Woon Leung was a devoted family man, cherishing time spent with loved ones. Known for his kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for his family, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Visitation will take place at the Memory Chapel in Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, on April 11th from 2pm to 5pm. A niche-side service to celebrate the life of Yu Woon Leung will be held on April 12th at 3:30pm (join in your own cars at the gate of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills). Instead of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made to a charity or organization of your choice in honor of Yu Woon Leung.
