Yolanda Marina Saca was born on July 08, 1929, and passed away September 21, 2025 at the age of 96. She resided in Houston, TX at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, CA.
Marina was born in El Salvador and moved to Los Angeles, California at 45 years old to join her sisters Alicia and Gloria. She was a faithful, brave, compassionate, and hard-working woman who touched the lives of many. Marina was a former business owner in El Salvador and a manager in her sister Alicia's restaurant in Los Angeles, dedicating her career to providing for her family. She was known for her dedication to her three children, Walter, Guillermo, and Carolina, as well as her own mother until her passing. She cared deeply for her large extended family, always desiring that all may know the Lord Jesus and be saved.
An active member of The Church in Fullerton, CA; Victorville, CA; Torrance, CA; and Houston, Texas, Marina's faith and church life were a cornerstone of her life. Her family would like to give special thanks to Marina’s nephew, Dr. Ricardo Saca, for his care and medical advice over many years, as well to his wife, Dr. Nidia Colomer de Saca. Tia Marina and her children are grateful for their generous time and support. They also extend their gratitude to all who visited, called, texted, and comforted her through the years.
Marina was preceded in death by her parents, Jorge and Graciela; her son, Walter; and her siblings, Ines, Gloria, Elias, Jorge, Raul, Antonio, Ricardo, Jose “Pepe,” and Carlos. She is survived by her son, Guillermo and his wife Lupe; her daughter, Carolina and her husband Bob; her sisters, Carmela, Alicia, and Ivonne; her brother, Alfredo; her grandchildren, Sandy, Patricia, Kendra, Walter Jr., Danika, Veronica, Nydia, and Jonathan; her great-grandchildren, Konnie, Kati, David, Anthony, Jonathan, Lucas, Katelyn, Genesis, Timothy, Julia, Leila, Elliott, and Oliver; and her great-great-grandchildren, Elio, Lena, and Anthony Jr.
