Our beloved Yolanda Cota, 71, born on March 01, 1952 in Brownsville, TX, USA, passed away October 09, 2023. She resided in Indio, CA at the time of her passing. Yolanda is survived by four sisters (Olga Delgado, Cecilia Saldivar, Elsa Sauceda and Alicia Campos), one brother (Arturo Avila), two children (Maria E Romero and David Cota), five grandchildren (Camille, Isabel, James and Nicholas Romero and David Cota Jr.) and three great-grandchildren (Ezra, Enri and Evan Monzon-Romero). She was preceded in death by her parents Vicente and Maria Campos, her brother Eduardo Campos and sisters Lucia Campos, and Olivia Campos.
Every one of us who went to work or needed a babysitter could count on "Nana," even after she worked the nightshift at Eisenhower Medical Hospital, because she loved all our kids. She was a blessing to us and now she will be a blessing in heaven.
Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks and Mortuaries, Coachella, CA.
