Windsor Akim, loving husband, father, and grandfather, 79, born on June 18, 1944, passed away July 17, 2023. He resided in BALDWIN PARK, CA at the time of his passing. In his last few months, he fought as hard as he could to survive the effects of chemotherapy to the end after being diagnosed with lymphoma earlier this year. He is survived by his wife Amelita Akim, his two children, Maechelle Brown and Ryan Akim, and his 4 grandsons, Joshua, Ethan, Zyan, and Kaizer; son-in-law, Trevor Brown and daughter-in-law, K. Akim. He retired from the United States Bankruptcy Court after working there for 21 years. Before migrating to the USA, he was a Bank Manager in the Philippines.

Windsor loved to travel with his wife and family, and was a devoted family man. He loved horses and loved to go to Santa Anita Park Race Track, and he would always be lucky enough to win. He would almost always use his winnings for his family. He loved sports and was an avid and loyal fan of all California teams. Windsor was an excellent swimmer, having grown up by the ocean where he was born in the Philippines. His family and friends knew him to be a quiet and funny guy. He was well respected and a favorite among his family and friends. He enjoyed singing and working in his garden, but most of all he devoted his life to his faith, wife and family.
