Guillermo Gonzales, lovingly known as “Gerry,” passed away on March 20, 2026, at the age of 83. He was born on February 10, 1943, and over the course of his long life he touched many people with his presence, wisdom, and spirit.

Gerry was a fashionable man known for his strong work ethic, his intelligence and attention to detail, his sense of humor, and his way of pushing boundaries. He loved studying and learning new things, eating, dancing, seeing his family succeed, roulette, and “fine dining” establishments like Sizzler and Denny’s, and those who knew him will remember his laugh and his advice. He will be deeply missed for the wisdom he passed on, his remarkable mind, his attention to detail and his strong determination.

He is survived by his wife, Helen, his seven children, four stepchildren, fifteen grandchildren, and seven great‑grandchildren, who will forever cherish his memory and the many lessons he left behind.

A service to honor and celebrate Gerry’s life will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park – Hollywood Hills. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and say goodbye to a respected father, relative, and friend.

He will be remembered as a dreamer who never wanted to settle, and for his educated guesses at the roulette wheel.
