William (Bill) Schwartz, 82, born on May 16, 1942, in Philadelphia, PA, United States, passed away March 23, 2025. Spent his career as a high school math teacher in Philadelphia before retiring to Indio, CA in 2004. He resided in Indio, CA at the time of his passing with his wife, Janice, of 44 years. Bill liked to go to the gym almost daily to exercise and “do laps” in the pool. He enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, and 76ers play. He liked being part of the neighborhood watch to make sure all the houses were safe and secure. He loved listening to music from the 50’s and 60’s and watching old classic movies and going to film festivals in Palm Springs. He enjoyed taking care of his pets, Shane and Popcorn, and their many walks around the neighborhood. Bill will be missed by his surviving family. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Cathedral City, CA.
