William (Bill) Paul Nixon passed away peacefully while sleeping, in his home, with his wife. He will be remembered by many for his unlimited sense of humor (always taking time to share a joke or 2), kindnesses, love of our great country, trains, trains and more trains. Bill served in the Active Army Reserves proudly for over 33 years. He was a Chief Warrant Officer and served in Taiwan and Desert Storm as a High Security Officer. Additionally, he worked at the University of Pittsburgh as a director for 33 years.
Bill was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late, James and Clotilda Nixon. Surviving: 2 brothers: Bud (wife Nitta) AZ and Bob (wife Jane) TX, loving wife - Susanna, children - Tammy, Bonnie, Elle, Sue Ann, Kimberly, Billy, Michael and Shannon, grandchildren - Amorette, Brandon, Frankie, Juliette, Nicholas, Barron, Brooklyn, Isabella and Annabelle.
