William D. Frampton

On January 24, 2021, William Dale Frampton, loving husband of Lynne Exton-Frampton, and father of eight children, Lawrence, Steven, Robert, Kathleen, Paul, Kevin, Craig, and Todd, passed away to be united with God. He had five siblings, Bertis, Marge, Barbara, Hal, and Terry of Salt Lake City, Utah. William was born on July 2, 1933 in Salina, Utah. He graduated from Davis High School in 1951. William moved to Las Vegas, Nevada soon thereafter and worked as a bartender at popular local bars and casinos. He left bartending to begin a long career in the retail grocery business. In the mid-1960s, he relocated to Hermosa Beach, CA. He stayed in the grocery business throughout most of his adult life and finished his career working part-time as a merchandiser for Breyers Ice Cream outlets. William married Lynne Exton in 1985. They met at a popular dance hall and club named The Hop in Orange County, CA. William played piano, clarinet, and saxophone during his youth and after moving to Hermosa Beach, CA, became an avid LA Laker and Dodger fan. Bill had eight children through two previous marriages. He has 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. A memorial service for William Frampton is scheduled for 1PM March 9 at Forest Lawn Mortuary in Cypress, CA. It will be immediately followed by a graveside burial ceremony at Forest Lawn Mortuary. Flowers and condolences can be sent to 4471 Lincoln Avenue, Cypress, CA 90630.
