William Edward Dahlberg

Dr. William Edward Dahlberg, 90, born on February 28, 1926 in Fresno, California passed away February 4, 2017. He resided in Shadow Hills, California at the time of his passing with his daughter-in-law Robin and grandson Troy. Bill grew up in Glendale, CA. and was a graduate of Hoover High School. He then entered the Navy at the age of 17 and he served on the destroyer USS MCCall in 1946. He then went on to dental school at USC in 1948.Bill then met and married the love of his life Lucile Anderson. In addition to having his own Orthodontic practice in Glendale he was a president of the USC Alumni Association, Glendale Academy of Dentists and very proud of becoming the editor of the American College of Dentists. Bill and Lucile had two children Cynthia and Bruce where they lived in La Canada until later moving to Glendale to be near Bill's orthodontic practice. The last years of Bill's life were especially hard with the loss of his wife Lucile and son Bruce. He struggled with health problems, Parkinson's disease was a challenge everyday for Bill, but he loved his family,friends, faith and country and was grateful for the life God gave him. He was an inspiration to all who knew and loved him and Bill will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. A true icon and gentleman. God Bless.
