Wendy passed away peacefully from liver failure on May 30, 2014; she was surrounded by her family. Wendy was born on August 26, 1958 in Mahopac, New York to her parents Robert and Celia Kisslinger. She graduated from Mahopac High School in 1976. She was an active member of the high school band and played the flute. She moved to California in 1979 and worked in the music industry. Wendy married Rick on June 26, 1990 and on December 3, 1991, Wendy gave birth to her twins, Blake and Tess. Wendy and Rick spent a lot of time at their lake house in Arvin, CA where Wendy became a talented barefoot water skier, slalom skier, boat driver, and more. In 2001, Wendy and Rick moved to Chatsworth, CA. There, Wendy enjoyed riding her horses with her daughter and supporting her son's love of cars and motorcycles. Wendy had her motorcycle license and frequently enjoyed rides with her family. Wendy was a doer; she loved taking trips to Aspen to ski black diamonds, she loved accompanying her husband in his airplane, she loved riding quads in Dumont Dunes, she loved snorkeling in Maui. More than her love for all sorts of activities was her love for helping others. Wendy worked tirelessly with the National Charity League San Fernando Valley Chapter and held many positions from President to Corresponding Secretary. She donated countless hours of volunteer work on her own and by her daughter's side. Wendy worked as the Chief Financial Officer of Coast to Coast Computer Products, the company that she and her husband built together. In summary, there wasn't anything that Wendy was not willing to try, she was passionate about many things. Wendy is survived by her husband Rick, her two children Tess and Blake, her mother Celia Kisslinger, her father Robert Kisslinger, and her sister Cynthia Meinel. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Fred.
