Wendell Solomon Kurian, 87, born on April 7, 1929 in Highland Park, Michigan, passed away December 8, 2016. He resided in Van Nuys, California, at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, California. Wendell leaves his daughter Kim, husband Terry and grandchildren Jason and Justin. Son Brad, wife Lori and grandchildren Kyle and Abbey. Great grandchildren Kaylee and Lilah. Sisters Barbara and Kay. Brother in law Joe. Nieces Michelle, Debbie and Sheri. Nephew Joey. Niece Kathy, husband Steve and daughter Sarah. His partner Audrey, who loved and took care of him for well over 25 years. And children Larry & Lisa. Plus many more family and friends. Wendell was a great and hard working business man who lived the American dream. Full of life. Extremely giving and compassionate. An awesome bowler. Full of pride. Loved swimming, ping-pong, poker, shooting pool, family get together's, Las Vegas, movies, music, food, vodka and just watching TV. Wendell was a fighter, and loved life. He demonstrated this by showing everyone during his last 7 months, his determination, courage, and want to keep living, despite the odds that were against him. He never ever complained! His body gave up on him, but not his mind, and he would always smile right to the end.
