He lived a life of simplicity and integrity. His wisdom influenced many people. Whether as a husband, a father, a grandfather, or a scholar and mentor, he embodied the meaning of life and depth of love through his resilience and steady character.
His family cordially invites all who wish to come remember and celebrate his life at his memorial service, arranged by his daughter Dr. Wei Li, to be held at Forest Lawn Covina on Tuesday November 4 at 2:30 pm.
刘卫平博士1946年6月7日出生于中国上海，于2025年10月23日安详辞世，享年七十九岁。
他一生勤勉，以智慧影响了无数人。无论是作为丈夫、父亲、祖父，还是学者与师者，他都以坚强、节俭、稳重的品格，诠释了人生的意义与爱的深度。
刘博士将永远被铭记为一位坚定可靠的丈夫、严格教育孩子的父亲、温暖的祖父，以及令人尊敬的教授。
他留下了深爱他的妻子——李素玲，结缡五十三载；她将永远怀念他的笑容、教诲与无私的爱。
愿他的灵魂在天国安息，被书籍，光与爱环绕，永享宁静。
