Wayne Alan Uhlir

Wayne Alan Uhlir was born on March 15, 1957 to Miles and Evelyn Uhlir of West Lafayette, Indiana.
Wayne joined siblings Larry, Linda, and Edward. Miles passed away and the family moved to California to be with Uncle Ed Cherry and family in 1960.
Wayne excelled at school and sports. He was known for his out-going personality and full head of hair! While attending Washington High School in Fremont, California, he played Basketball (#22), Football and Varsity Baseball.
He married Kay Wichert and moved to San Dimas, CA. She passed away after battling cancer in 1999. Wayne stayed in San Dimas and continued to work for the same company for 35 years.
Our "baby" brother left us on Monday, September 13, 2021 after a long health struggle leaving a huge vacancy in our hearts and lives.
He leaves many friends and family: Brothers Larry and wife Judy, Ed and wife Susan; Sister Linda and husband Gary along with step-son Matthew Wichert and wife Grace. He is remembered by various Nephews, Nieces, friends and associates.
