Walter Santizo

Walter Santizo, 56, born on September 27, 1964, in Guatemala City, Guatemala, passed away August 29, 2021. He's survived by his wife and companion of 32 years, Connie; his children Walter and Alejandra; his grandchildren Coatl and Cualli; his sisters Sandra and Carolina; his niece Denise; his nephews Herbert, Otto, Erick and Danny, among a long list of dear relatives. Let's not forget his beloved pets: Mo, Lucy and Luna.

Walter dedicated his professional life to the prevention, education, treatment and implementation of substance use disorder approaches that address the medical, spiritual, and social needs of those affected by its impact. He was very passionate about this cause.

He resided in Pico Rivera, CA at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Glendale, California.

Walter would often refer to the following passage during prayer after his mother passed away in January 2021:

"En la casa de Mi Padre hay muchas moradas; si no fuera así, se lo hubiera dicho; porque voy a preparar un lugar para ustedes."
