Harold Johnson, 74, of Palm Desert, CA passed away June 24, 2012 in Palm Springs, CA of heart failure. He was born June 4, 1938, to Walter and NelRae Johnson in Detroit, MI. He was a retired insurance agent with AAA. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1956 to 1959. He is survived by his spouse, Cindy Johnson; daughters, Jill, Sandy, Lena (Travis), and Saundee (Damien); sons, Craig (Kristen) and Todd (Kelly); sister, Nancy Reutter of Michigan; and brother Ray Mason of Michigan. He is also survived by his five grandchildren: Ryan, Kurt, Remi, Travis and Hannah; brother-in-law, Jeff (Christine); sister-in law, Sandra (Joe) and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on July 1, 2012 at Forest Lawn Mortuary, Cathedral City, CA. Harold will be missed by so many who dearly loved him.
