Wadia Dede Boyadjian

Wadia Dede Boyadjian ("DeDe") , 69, of Lake Forest, CA, passed away on June 30, 2020 at 9:24 a.m., due to complications associated with respiratory failure, after a two-year health struggle of unknown origin.

DeDe was born in Cairo, Egypt on May 19, 1951. She graduated from St. Clare's College in Cairo.

At 17 years old, DeDe was the first in her family to immigrate to the United States. In 1972, she settled in Lake Forest, CA, a community she called home for 48 years. She worked as a hair dresser throughout her 20's, and was a loving daycare provider to over 100 infants and preschool age children for 22 years. At 51 years of age, DeDe met the love of her life, her dearest "Brandino."

DeDe will be remembered for her beauty, zest for life, and infectious laugh. In her spare time she enjoyed running, walking, yoga, cooking, keeping a spotless home, and spending every opportunity to be with the people she loved.

DeDe is survived by daughters Rita Boyadjian and Linda Galley-Boyadjian; six grandchildren Daray, Myranda and Jayden Galley; and, Emma, Oskar and Johann Frohn; siblings Gamil and Nabil Messadieh, Violet Mussalli, Nadia Yamine and Mona Nakhleh; and, her long-time companion of 18 years, her beloved "Brandino." DeDe is preceded in death by her parents, Youssef & Natalina Messadieh.
