Vivian Pacilio was born June 20th, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY and had 7 siblings. She spent her teenage years following Frank Sinatra from venue to venue to watch him perform, which began her great love for “Frankie”.
Vivian met her husband Alfred Pacilio in Brooklyn as a teenager. Vivian and Alfred were married in New York and had 2 sons, Alfred and Edward. They moved across the country in 1964 and moved to Hawthorne, CA., where they began their life on the West coast. Vivian spent her adult life as a homemaker and raising her 2 sons which were her pride and joy. Vivian and Al retired in the desert and were married for 50 yrs. She lost her husband in 2000 and moved to Rancho Mirage, where she met a myriad of amazing friends and was blessed to meet her best friend, Eddie Mineo in 2006.
Vivian adored Eddie and there was rarely a conversation that did not involve “My Eddie”. She spent her years in Rancho Mirage surrounded by Eddie and many friends, going to parties and dancing the night away at nightclubs. She was well known at “The Nest”” and “Bernie’s nightclub and was always treated to VIP service when she arrived. Eddie and “Vivi” remained inseparable throughout her remaining years.
Vivian’s greatest joy in life was her family and her friends. She loved spending time with her family and listening to music and dancing with her friends. She was always the life of the party and known by many for her straightforward, no filtered conversations. She welcomed all as family and had an infectious personality. She remained vibrant and feisty as she got older and to know her was truly to love her.
Her passing leaves a void in so many lives and she will forever be remembered and missed dearly by all that knew her.
Vivian was preceded in death by her husband Al and her 7 siblings.
