Virginia Evans

Virginia Evans, 92, of Seal Beach, CA passed away on March 23, 2019 in Queen Creek, AZ. Virginia was born in Lexington, AL to Buford T. Allen and Velma Le Fan Allen on June 10, 1926. After graduating from Lexington High School, Virginia went to work at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. as clerical staff. There she met her future husband, Guy E. Evans. They married on April 20, 1946 in Long Beach, CA. After raising her four children, she worked as library clerical staff at Long Beach Polytechnic High School for 20 years.

Virginia is preceded in death by her husband Guy Evans, her parents Buford and Velma Allen, her brothers James Paul Allen and Harold S. Allen, and her sister Norma Allen.

Virginia is survived by her son Terry Evans and wife Darlene of Agoura Hills, CA, daughter Patricia Evans Rudolph of Queen Creek, AZ, son Dennis Evans and wife Kay of Hansville, WA, daughter Deborah Evans Taylor of Garden Grove, CA, her brother Ralph Allen of Clarksville, TN, sisters Barbara Allen Massey of Mt. Pleasant,TN and Doris Allen Garner of Lexington, AL, her grandchildren Christopher Troutman, Jeffrey Troutman, Stacee Evans, Nicholaus Evans, Eric Doyle, Megan Graham, Ashley Johnson, Chelsea Evans, Chase Evans and 15 great grandchildren.

A private family graveside service will be officiated by Jeffrey Troutman on April 4, 2019 at 2:30 pm.
