She and her husband Robert Cressey were married 70 years, and had one son Ronald Cressey in 1946. She was a hairdresser for Paramount Studio until her son's birth. She and her family loved to participate in car clubs activities where a good portion of their friendships were made. She resided in Valley Village, California, at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, CA.
