Viola Lee Harrison-White was born on May 22, 1958 to Ernest and Fannie Lee in the city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was the wife of Joseph L. Harrison and later married to Kevin White. Viola gave life to a daughter Ashley Lauren Harrison and a son Kevin Ivory White.

Viola was raised and educated in Baton Rouge, Louisiana graduating from Capitol Senior High School – Class of 1975. She was a member of the ROTC. Viola later attended Louisiana State University and Southern University with an emphasis in Rhetoric. With the guidance and spiritual participation of her parents, Viola was christened and baptized in the Jordan United Methodist Church which became the foundation of her strong commitment to give and serve others in her life.

Viola was a professionally trained fashion model, participating in fashion events throughout Louisiana, as well as being featured as a commercial model in newspaper advertisements.

Viola worked in Marketing/Sales and Advertising for WJBO and KQXL radio stations in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and after her marriage to Joseph moved to Nashville, Tennessee to take work as Broadcast Marketing and Sales Manager for United Press International covering the state of Tennessee.

After moving to Santa Monica in 1985, Viola worked in sales for Pitney Bowes, Sprint and Pacific Bell. Viola entered and completed the Upward Bound House program operated by the First United Methodist Church of Santa Monica. She was highlighted in the Santa Monica Daily Press which recognized her as one of Upward Bound's most successful participants. Viola went on to sit on the Upward Bound House Board of Directors and was a tireless and passionate participant in the improvement of its members as well as many others in the community. In addition, Viola was on the steering committee of Back to Basic and dedicated her life to assisting the women in AA suffering from mental health challenges.

Viola became an entrepreneur in 2004 starting Voz A Fine Flower Company and through her tireless work efforts became a member of Telefora. Voz A Fine Flower Company has served the local community and clients nationwide with beautiful floral arrangements ever since. Viola's warm loving kindness and spirit pushed herself and so many others to become the best you can be!!
