Victorina Sanchez De Hernandez

Vicky Sánchez de Hernández, cariñosamente conocida como Mami Vicky, falleció rodeada de su familia el 6 de octubre a la edad de 75 años en su casa en Moreno Valley, California.

Nació el 1 de julio en el Ojo de Agua de Latillas, Jal., México, siendo la amada hija de Geronima y Esteban Sánchez. Desde joven, se destacó por su calidez, fe y generosidad — virtudes que guiaron toda su vida.

Vicky construyó una vida llena de amor. Fue ama de casa por 56 años y su esfuerzo y entrega inspiraron a todos los que la conocieron. Se sentía orgullosa de sus hijos y nietos y bisnietas, y encontraba alegría en su jardín rodeada de sus flores y plantitas.

Su recuerdo vivirá por siempre en los corazones de su familia: su esposo Agustín, hijos: Miguel, Rosario, Sonia y Ezequiel, Verónica, Viviana y Moisés, y todos sus nietos y dos bisnietas. Su amor, su risa y su sabiduría permanecerán con nosotros por siempre.

Familiares y amigos están cordialmente invitados a celebrar la vida de Vicky.

• El 6 de noviembre será la velación en Forest Lawn 4471 Lincoln Ave. Cypress, CA. 90630 Patriots Chapel de 3 a 9 pm. El rosario será a las 7 pm.

• El 7 de noviembre será la misa a las 10:30 am en la Iglesia Católica de San Ireneo ubicada en 5201 Evergreen Ave. Cypress, CA 90630. La misa será oficiada por el padre Candelario Sánchez Muñoz.

• La sepultura será después de la misa el 7 de noviembre a la 1:30 pm en el Cementerio Católico Nuestra Señora Reina de la Paz ubicado en 3510 E Washington St. Colton, CA 92324.

Vicky Sánchez de Hernández, affectionately known as Mami Vicky, passed away surrounded by her family on October 6th at the age of 75 at her home in Moreno Valley, California.

She was born on July 1st in Ojo de Agua de Latillas, Jalisco, Mexico, the beloved daughter of Geronima and Esteban Sánchez. From a young age, she was known for her warmth, faith, and generosity—virtues that guided her entire life.

Vicky built a life full of love. She was a homemaker for 56 years, and her hard work and dedication inspired all who knew her. She was proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and found joy in her garden surrounded by flowers and plants.

Her memory will live forever in the hearts of her family: her husband Agustín, her children Miguel, Rosario, Sonia, and Ezequiel, Verónica, Viviana, and Moisés, and all her grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Her love, laughter, and wisdom will remain with us forever.

Family and friends are cordially invited to celebrate Vicky's life.

• A viewing will take place on November 6th at Forest Lawn, 4471 Lincoln Ave., Cypress, CA 90630, from 3 to 9 pm. The rosary will be at 7 pm.

• A Mass will be held on November 7th at 10:30 am at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, located at 5201 Evergreen Ave., Cypress, CA 90630. Father Candelario Sánchez Muñoz will officiate.

• Burial will follow Mass on November 7th at 1:30 pm at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, located at 3510 E. Washington St., Colton, CA 92324.
