Victoria Antonio Soriano

Victoria Antonio Soriano, Elementary School Teacher in the Philippines, December 25, 1944 - June 20, 2014. Devoted wife to the late Rodrigo Cordova Soriano. Born in Manila, Philippines, she was the youngest daughter of the late Emiliana Cruz and Andres Antonio Sr. Loving sister to Flaviana, Elizabeth, Iluminada, Leticia (deceased), Alfonso (deceased), Jose, Venancio, Emmanuel, and Andres, Jr. Victoria, also known as "Vicky" to her close friends, spent 17 years with the late Rodrigo (Boy) until he passed away on June 22, 1995. At which time, she selflessly joined the workforce to care for and raise her three children, Clarissa, Paul, and Rowena, on her own. Victoria eventually ended up as an associate at Walmart where she was happy to help any customer that needed it. She spent her last 2 years courageously battling stage IV breast cancer, even though they had only given her six months. She loved life, work, people, and especially her family. Victoria passed away at Queen of the Valley Hospital in West Covina, California surrounded by her children. Many thanks to her friends and family who were there to support her. She will be greatly missed. Victoria is survived by her three children and five grandchildren, Angelica, Mia, Paul, Jr., Anthony, and Jacklynn. Reposing Tuesday 5:00 pm-9:00 pm and burial Wednesday June 25th at 11:30 am. Both will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial-21300 East Via Verde Street, Covina, CA 91724.
