Victor de Leon Rodriguez, Jr.

Victor de Leon Rodriguez, Jr. was a beloved member of the community who dedicated his career to serving the City of Paranaque. Born on July 20, 1949, in Paranaque, Philippines, Victor Jr. was the son of Victor Sr. and Dionisia. He grew up alongside his sisters Teresita, Estelita, Rhodora, Pilar, Digna, Divina, Nancy, Myra, and brothers Renato, Oscar, and Ernesto.

Victor Jr. pursued his passion for engineering and earned two Bachelor's Degree, Civil Engineering and Sanitary Engineering, from an esteemed institution. Armed with his knowledge and skill set, he created his own private practice. He also joined Manila Memorial Park as their park engineer. Eventually, he joined the City of Paranaque as their dedicated City Engineer. His commitment to his work was unmatched, as he tirelessly contributed to the development and improvement of the city's infrastructure.

Outside of work, Victor Jr. possessed a deep love for food that extended past mere consumption. He had a knack for cooking and constantly sought out new dining experiences at various restaurants. His culinary adventures brought him joy and connected him with people who shared his passion for good food.

Although generally quiet, Victor Jr. would gladly share stories from his early years if you asked him about them. His warm demeanor made it easy for others to engage with him and feel comfortable in his presence. Those who knew him well understood that beneath his peaceful exterior resided a treasure trove of memories just waiting to be explored.

He went home to be with Jesus on November 24, 2023, leaving behind a trail of cherished memories and countless lives touched by his compassion and dedication. He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth and their children - Victor Von III, Vincent Val, Vina Vanessa, and Vernon Van.

Victor Jr.'s presence will also be deeply missed by his grandsons Xander and Mateo, granddaughters Ysabelle and Olivia who brought immense joy into his life.

During this time of mourning and remembrance, friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the visitation, which will be held on December 22, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hope Chapel in Forest Lawn - Cypress located at 4471 Lincoln Ave, Cypress, CA, 90630. Funeral services will follow on December 23, 2023 at 9:00 AM at Patriots Chapel in Forest Lawn - Cypress.

Victor de Leon Rodriguez Jr.'s memory will forever remain etched in our hearts. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
