Victor Orozco, a cherished soul known for his infectious smile and unwavering dedication, departed this life on April 27, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on July 29, 1943, in Cordoba, Veracruz, Victor was a luminous presence in the lives of many, revered not only for his professional accomplishments but also for the profound love he shared with his family and the remarkable stories that enriched his interactions.

A student of the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, where he honed his skills as a Chemical Engineer, Victor devoted 22 impactful years to the City of Glendale. His career was initiated with a brief yet memorable stint at a restaurant in Walt-Disney Studios, Burbank, where he cultivated fond memories. However, it was at Michael's Restaurant in Los Feliz that Victor's life truly blossomed; surrounded by the glamour of Old Hollywood, he encountered the likes of Ron Ely (Tarzan) and The Three Stooges, and many other glamorous starlets, movie stars, and entertainers gaining rich experiences that he would recount with joy and nostalgia.

Victor was blessed with a wide array of athletic talents, showcasing his physical prowess throughout his life. A gifted center fielder in his youth, he reveled in attending Los Angeles Dodgers games, further solidifying his passion for sports. Victor's athleticism continued into his later years, astonishing those around him with his feats of strength, as demonstrated during a chin-up competition with Marines in New York, while visiting his Grandson Louis during Fleet Week; a tribute to his enduring vitality and spirit.

Beyond athletics, one of his deepest joys was gardening, where he meticulously tended to his beloved rose garden, fruit trees, and peppers. He exhibited an extraordinary enthusiasm for classic cars, enthralling friends and family alike with his extensive knowledge and engaging tales about these treasured vehicles.

Victor’s loyalty and kindness were reflected in his relationships, particularly with his beloved wife, Cristina Orozco. Their deep bond was a testament to love, as they navigated life together, first in Santiago, where he set his sights on her beauty from a young age, and later in Los Angeles, where they built a family filled with precious memories. He took immense pride in his son, Juan Diego Orozco, and together with Cristina, reveled in the achievements of their grandson, Louis Everett Orozco.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Victor was a bastion of support and encouragement for his family. With a sense of humor that could light up the room, he remained self-disciplined and focused, always finding pride in his work and the impeccable standards he maintained in his appearance. His dedication extended beyond his own family, as he was known for being exceptionally helpful and polite, offering insightful guidance that was widely appreciated among colleagues and patrons alike.

Victor is survived by his beloved wife, Cristina Orozco; his son, Juan Diego Orozco; and his grandson, Louis Everett Orozco. He is also survived by his brothers, Roberto, Mariano, and Jorge Pulido. He joins his beloved deceased family members, including his mother, Margarita Orozco; father, Javier Orozco; sister, and Refugio Orozco; along with his uncle, Rosendo Orozco.

In honoring the memory of Victor Orozco, we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by dedication, laughter, and love. His stories will endure in the hearts of those who knew him, and his legacy will forever be cherished by his family and friends, who look back on his remarkable journey with respect and admiration.
