Victor Malonzo

Victor Libao Malonzo, 78, born on September 10, 1945, in Caloocan City, Philippines. He was one of six children born to Virgilio Malonzo, Sr. and Profetiza Malonzo. He immigrated to the United States in 1970 and worked as a mechanical engineer. He met and married his love Maria and together purchased their forever home in Cerritos, California where they raised their family.  Victor enjoyed playing tennis and spending time with his grandchildren.  Unfortunately, Victor was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in late 2022. Victor put up a fight and survived a little over a year.  In that year he went through chemotherapy and radiation, but also enjoyed time and made memories with his family.  He was able to celebrate his 50th wedding anniversary, go on Disney cruise, see his youngest son get married, and made road trips to Las Vegas and Arizona.  Victor is survived by his wife Maria, his three children Victoria, Charles, and Andrew and his three grandchildren, Katelyn, Audrey, and Greyson.

Funeral Mass: February 2 at St. Pius V Church, Buena Park at 10am then laid to rest at Cypress Forest Lawn
