Victor Lara

Victor Lara, 41, was born on September 10, 1980, in Indio, CA and passed away March 21, 2022. His parents were Manuel and Tomasa Lara and was the youngest of 15 children. He lived most of his life in Thousand Palms attending Della s. Lindley, Desert Springs Middle School and Cathedral City High School.

When he was in Chino, he became a certified welder and even though he truly enjoyed welding, he decided to start a new life in Madera when he met and fell in love with Mina. Mina shared that they had many amazing times together. Whether they were working in the fields with her parents or traveling, Victor enjoyed his time with his wife.

Victor loved to travel. Not only did he tour many cities in California, he also visited the states of Washington, Oregon, and Arizona and lived a few months in Las Vegas and Tennessee.

A hobby he enjoyed was writing music and rapping. This pastime allowed him to express himself with love to his family and his faithy.

In 2013 his son Victor Manuel was born. This was a life changing moment for him and he wanted to be the best father he could be. He knew the importance of family and fatherhood therefore decided to be a stay-at-home dad.

Victor did not always have it easy but after he became a husband and a father, he tried to better himself for his family. He made sure to make his wife and son a priority.

Victor was friendly, outgoing, and personable. People truly enjoyed his company. His smile and laugh were contagious granting him many friendships.

Victor did not live a long life but he left a lifetime of memories in our hearts.
