Vicente Almarez Pichay

Vicente "Vic" Almarez Pichay, 81, passed away on October 19, 2016 in Fairfield, CA. He was born on June 28, 1935, in Ilocos Sur, Philippines to the late Vicente and Ursula Pichay. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Violeta Pichay. Vic is survived by his second wife, Catalina Arroyal; children, Victor (Annie) Pichay, Vincent (Jocelyn) Pichay, Victoria Bonifacio, and Voltaire (Sheila) Pichay; grandchildren, Victor Michael "Micky" (Mary Jane), Anna (Michael), Jovi, SV, Mia, Jev, Alvin, Shawn, and Javen; great-granchildren, Jasmine, Angelo, Andrew, and Jayden; siblings, Lucrecia (Sadiri) Villanueva and Soledad De Laza; along with countless other family and friends whom were blessed to know him.

In his spare time, Vic enjoyed gardening, woodwork, and watching action movies on Netflix. He touched the lives of many with his kind heart and generosity.

Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service, which will be held at 9AM on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at St. Lorenzo Ruiz - 747 Meadow Pass Rd., Walnut, CA 91789. Visitation will be from 2PM to 9PM on Thursday, October 27, 2016 and Friday, October 28, 2016 at Forest Lawn - Covina Hills, 21300 Via Verde Dr., Covina, CA 91724.
