Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and son.

Vicente “Vic” P. Jamoral, 86 years old, peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones on July 27, 2025. Vic was born in Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines. He was fondly known by many names: Vic, Enteng, Vicen, and Daddy Vic. He lived a life rooted in honor, integrity, and service. He was a man whose presence commanded quiet respect, yet whose laughter could fill a room.

From humble beginnings, Vic’s brilliance shone early. He earned a degree in Chemical Engineering from Far Eastern University. He pursued his MBA at De La Salle University while faithfully serving in the Philippine Navy. Over 32 years of military service, he rose through the ranks to become a Commodore, an accomplishment that reflected not just leadership, but deep dedication to his country.

He was no ordinary officer. Trained as a military frogman, Vic bravely carried out underwater retrieval missions. He brought honor to the Navy through his international studies in Vietnam, Singapore, Australia, United Kingdom, and United States. He was an expert in shipbuilding and lighthouse systems. In fact, he was once featured on the renowned Philippine television program Magandang Gabi Bayan to share his knowledge with the nation. He never sought praise, but his service and intellect were undeniable.

Beyond his uniform, Vic was a man of immense heart. He adored life’s simple joys: playing chess, scrabble, and basketball, solving crossword puzzles, diving into books, swimming, and tending to his garden. He also enjoys going to casino.

Vic was a pillar of strength—honest to the core, deeply religious, and never one to compromise his principles. He detested corruption, stood firmly by his word, and taught through example that true greatness lies in character, not titles. He had a sharp wit and loved telling jokes, often delivering them with a sparkle in his eyes. He raised his children with discipline and warmth and later became a guiding light to his grandchildren and great-grandchild. He finds joy in rewarding his grandchildren for their academic success. His quiet way of saying “I believe in you”.

Vicente is survived by his devoted wife Ofelia, his cherished children Josephine (Barry), Jocelyn (Rufo), Joanne (Joel), J Robert Vincent (Cathy), Jasper Jerome (Ave) and Jeffrey; his precious grandchildren Patricia (Julia), Jan Paolo, Justin Vincent, Christine Anne, Jullian Carlos (Irish Justine), Jonathan James, Jeremy, Jade, Dan Jendrix, Avelyn Jane and Avemae Joyce; and his sweet great-grandson Jensen Ace and siblings Natividad, Isidro Jr and Zosima. Their lives are forever touched by his love, wisdom, and unwavering presence. Vicente is preceded in death by his parents Isidro Sr. And Florentina Jamoral, brothers Nicanor, Perfecto, Jose, and Ramon, and son Jaime.

Daddy Vic’s legacy is etched not only in medals or ranks, but in the hearts he nurtured, the values he instilled, and the stories that will echo for generations. To know him was to admire him, to be loved by him was a gift beyond words. His heart, mind, and spirit left a lasting imprint on everyone privileged to know him.

We will miss his voice, his humor, his stories, and most of all, his presence.
