Veronica R. Bonilla

Our loving and beautiful wife, mother, and grandmother has gone to be with the angels in heaven. Veronica Bonilla passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the age of 74. Veronica was born on August 8, 1947 to Fred and Camerina Espinoza. She was born a twin with her sister Monica. Monica sadly died shortly after being born. Veronica leaves behind her younger brother, Raymond Espinoza of Las Vegas, Nevada. They went through life like two peas in a pod. She leaves her husband of 53 years, Jose R. Bonilla, two sons; Jose Martin Bonilla and his two sons Martin Frederico Bonilla, Jovanni Joseph Bonilla and their mother Denice and her son Vicente; son Steven John Bonilla, daughter-in-law Carmen, their three children ; Olivia Lauren Bonilla, Sophia Madelynn Bonilla and Mason Alexander Bonilla; daughter Monique Judith and son-in-law Adam Rodgers and their two children Miles Adam Rodgers and Elliana Nicole Rodgers. Left to miss her are her family, relatives and friends that have expressed their deepest condolences and sadness on her passing.

Veronica was always dedicated to her husband and children. She was employed by Nelson's Clothing Store in L.A. as a young woman. She also worked at K-Mart in Buena Park, twice with Bank of America in Long Beach and Cerritos. She was also employed by Mechanics National Bank in Huntington Park. Later she assisted her parents and brother at Freddy's Radiator and Air Conditioning shop in Artesia, California.

Veronica, her brother and parents are originally from Hutchinson, Kansas. She graduated from Hutchinson High School before relocating to the Los Angeles area.

Footnote: Veronica passed away on her first born's birthday, June 8th. Her other two children were also born on June 13th and June 24th.
