Vera Grijalva was born on Valentine's Day in 1931, in Otis, New Mexico. She would spend the next 94 years filling the lives around her with warmth, devotion, and unconditional love.
Vera left this earth on January 10, 2026 ending her remarkable life journey.
Now reunited with her beloved husband Frank and her cherished daughter Linda Reese, Vera's spirit lives on brilliantly through her children: Ernest Martinez, Deborah Frame, Celeste Royer, Pamela Grossman, Fabian Grijalva, and Veronica Scarpelli. But Vera's legacy extends far beyond, like branches of a magnificent family tree, her love reaches across 24 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren, each one carrying a piece of her generous heart.
Born on the day of love, Vera lived every day of her 94 years as a testament to that perfect timing. She understood that family wasn't just important, it was everything. And in building such a beautiful, expansive family, she created something truly eternal.
While we grieve her passing, we celebrate a life extraordinarily well lived, a heart that loved without limits, and a woman whose greatest achievement was the love that will continue to ripple through generations yet to come.
