Venka V. Richards, 84, of Huntington Beach, passed away August 10, 2018. Born Venka Vanoff in Buffalo, New York on December 8, 1933. In 1955 she moved to California. Venka is survived by her husband, William A. Richards, her sons Christopher Richards (Terri), Mark Thomas (June); sisters Nancy Alex (Peter), Alexandra Zajack (Gregory); grandchildren Vincent Richards (Lisa), Christina Overholt (Robert), Mark Thomas Jr., Nathan Thomas; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by father, Methody Vanoff in 1974, mother Fima Vanoff in 2003, brother Nicholas Vanoff in 1991, brother Boris Vanoff in 2006, and son Douglas Richards in 2017. Funeral Services will be held at 9:00 AM, Friday, August 17, 2018 at Forest Lawn, Cypress, California (Church of Our Fathers). Doors open at 8:30 AM for viewing. She will be missed!!!
