Velma Irene Bivens, 92, born on January 21, 1930, in Hickory Plains, AR, United States, passed away January 28, 2022. She is survived by 3 children: Larry (Cheryl) Bivens, Judy (Vince) Birt, and Mary (Keith) Burton, DIL Jean Bivens. Velma was preceded in death by her husband Floyd E Bivens and 2 children: Frank Bivens, & Timothy Bivens. Her Grandchildren are Lisa Bivens, Tanya Shipley, Allen Birt, Robert Birt, Jacob Bivens, Misty Bivens, Amber Bivens, Carolyn Adam, Shannon Pierce, Jared Bivens, and Farah Boyle. Velma had 23 Great-grandchildren. Velma was a Christian and a true prayer warrior. She was employed by OCDE for 20 years as a Special Ed. teacher. Velma resided in Anaheim for 66 years. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, camping and family vacations. Her services were held on 2/8/22, her burial will be 4/29/2022 at 1:30 pm at Riverside National Cemetery, in Riverside CA.
