Mr. Vardan Antonyan, 77, was born on July 12, 1935, in Salonika, Greece.
His parents had fled to Greece during the Armenian genocide from Western Armenia (circa 1915).
Mr. Antonyan's family then emigrated back to Armenia after WWII in 1947.
In was in 1980 when Mr. Antonyan took his family and emigrated to the U.S.

In Armenia, Vardan studied Electrical Engineering and worked in Television & Radio.
One of his favorite thing to do as a boy growing up in Greece was to swim in the Aegean Sea, on the beaches of Salonika.

He lived his life for his family.

He passed away peacefully on Friday, January 4, 2013 in Los Angeles, California.
All arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Glendale, California
