Uwe Karl Beth

Uwe Karl Beth passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 76. Uwe's lasting legacy was his loving, caring nature, kind heart and willingness to help, especially the under privileged. He is loved and will be forever missed more than he would ever realize in his lifetime.

Uwe is survived by his wife Raquel Beth; and his two daughters, Barbara Beth of New York City and Margarete Beth of Castro Valley, California. He is preceded in death by his sister Adelgunde Beth of Berlin, Germany and his brother Knuth Beth of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

Uwe was born on February 6, 1941, in Koblenz, Germany to Kurt and Margarete Beth. He moved to the United States in 1960. He was married to Kathleen Beth (Klem), mother to Barbara and Margarete Beth, from 1965 to 1974, then married the love of his life, Raquel Beth (Amoloria) for 30 years.

As a young man, Uwe was an accomplished European mechanic, trained in Germany and then later excelled in entrepreneurship with Raquel, developing several successful businesses. As a successful businessman, he was uncompromising in his values and principles of honesty in his negotiations. He was a truly loving, thoughtful and generous man especially to his immediate and extended family members and friends. Beneath his awesome intellect is a witty individual who loved to spend time with family his and friends, travel, and watch films and soccer.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Kaiser Hospital – Los Angles for his care and to everyone who knows and love Uwe. He is surely heaven's gain and a great loss to his loved ones.
