Twinkle Melody Wells

Twinkle Melody Wells, a loving Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, and Mother in Love, a supporting anchor to many and a friend to all, passed away on September 2nd 2021 in a hard fought battle with Covid. At the age of 63, She resided in Las Vegas, NV at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, California.

Born Twinkle Melody Anderson on March 23rd 1958 in Bronx NY to the late Claire Jinx Borre and Clarence Anderson, Twinkle was nicknamed Coco and is the youngest of two children raised in a loving home by the late Margaret Borre who she would refer to as her mother.

As a native of the Bronx, Twinkle attended P.S. 78 elementary school and graduated from Evander Child's High School in 1976. As a New Yorker, her mother introduced her to watching Broadway Plays, Holiday Parades, and dining in places like City Island and White Castle.

Twinkle married Ronald Wells on Valentines Day 1978 and two children were born from this union, Quincy and Tiffany. In 1987 Twinkle met the late Allan DeMonde and they had one child, Dakota. After the passing of Allan, Twinkle relocated to California with her 3 children and lived with her mother Margaret to help raise her niece and nephew Coco and Micheal.

In 1990, Twinkle met and fell in love with Frank House Jr., creating a loving home together raising her 3 children as a homemaker. They would spend the next 10 years together embarking on new adventures taking road trips to places like Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Reno. In 2007, Twinkle moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where she would find her passion in retail working at Target.

To many, Twinkle was nostalgic with a heart of gold. She was thoughtful, kind, and generous, always volunteering her services to help those in need. She believed in good services to humanity and maintained lifelong friendships enjoying jovial conversations with family and friends. She was an early riser who loved cooking and trying new restaurants.

Twinkle will be remembered for her loving way of celebrating people. Her thoughtful gestures, always reaching out to people on their birthday and holidays, writing letters, sending care packages, holiday cards, and her brutal honesty when conversing will be dearly missed.

Twinkle is preceded in death by her birth parents and her mother Margaret. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her 3 children Quincy, Tiffany, and Dakota, one grandchild Madison, her brother Guy Anderson, Two Daughter in Laws Sacha Little-John and Sybil Mimy-Wells, Two Grandchildren in marriage SaBella and Solana, and her niece who was named after her, Coco Hopkins

The family would like to thank Covina Hills- Forest Lawn Memorial Parks for their thoughtful services. Friends are invited to celebrate Twinkles life in Covina Hills at a viewing from 9am - 1pm on Saturday October 9th 2021 in the Evergreen Room, 2nd floor Mortuary Building, 21300 Via Verde St, Covina CA 91724, Funeral services will follow at 3pm at the Divine Shelter Chapel.
