Tsunhou Michael Jen

Michael (Tsun-hou) Jen was born July 10th, 1952 and has passed away on February 24th, 2022 at the age of 69. It was a sudden and unexpected death after unknowingly living with Sepsis for two months, which ultimately caused Septic Shock and disbelief amongst his family. He was surrounded by his wife and children who loved him dearly.


Michael completed his Bachelor's degree at Taipei University in Engineering and finished his Masters degree at Cal State Fullerton where he met Sandy. He's worked on a number of projects in aerospace throughout the country; in California, Georgia, Connecticut, Seattle, and even out of the country in London.


Although Michael loved nice things, he also enjoyed the simpler things like gardening and walking through nature. He loved to point out flowers and fruits on trees and in bushes. It was always at the end of a hike with views of waterfalls, rivers, and lakes that were the most satisfying to him.


No one can argue that Michael was most proud of his family. He was a devoted husband to his wife and had three married children, Vivian, Tiffany and Benjamin. He was also a beloved grandfather to seven grandchildren and he loved them more than anything. His family was fortunate enough to travel with him and some of the older grandchildren were even lucky enough to be able to hold his hands through Taiwan, Mexico, Croatia, Jamaica, Bahamas, and more. The fun stories these kids will have with their grandfather will be carried on for years to come. He will forever be remembered as a living embodiment of love and family loyalty.


A short ceremony, followed by a procession to the gravesite will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, March 25th, 2022 at Forest Lawn in Cypress, CA.
