Tracy Buckley

Jan 31, 1963 — Jul 3, 2026

Tracy Lynn Buckley passed away on July 3, 2026, at the age of 63, surrounded by the love of her family. Her legacy of fun, generosity, and togetherness will continue to live on through everyone who knew her.

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Tracy moved with her family to San Diego at a young age, where she was raised alongside her four siblings, LauraLee Sciabica, James Mutter, Victoria Bucknall, and Thomas Mutter. Tracy shared a special bond with each of her siblings, and those relationships helped shape the deep sense of family, warmth, and connection that defined every part of her life.

Tracy began her professional life as a hairdresser, where she exercised her creativity and appreciation for beauty. She continued building a career as an Account Executive managing retail accounts in the beauty industry, where she made lifelong friends and discovered a passion for the finer things.

In 1993, Tracy married the love of her life, Paul Buckley. Together, they built a beautiful life in Long Beach, California, where they raised their children, Conor and Hannah. They created a home filled with love, laughter, and lasting traditions. Alongside Paul, Tracy cofounded and helped build Simplus Management Corporation. As President her dedication, leadership, and attention to detail resulted in a business that successfully served the local communities for over 22 years.

Tracy’s gift for thoughtful planning and creativity brought so much joy and vibrancy to her family’s everyday moments. From sports activities, holiday and birthday celebrations to unforgettable vacations, her special touch was felt in every memory they created together.

As Paul and Tracy entered retirement, Tracy found delight in reading, traveling, enjoying great food and wine, and spending time with the people she loved most. She cherished her time in Coronado, a place that brought her peace and became a favorite gathering place for family and friends. Their condo, lovingly known as “The Bungalow,” became a home away from home where she shared countless memories with her closest friends, siblings, nieces, nephews, and their children.

She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Paul Buckley; her son, Conor Buckley, and his wife, Amy Buckley; and daughter, Hannah Buckley, who were the greatest pride of her life; as well as her siblings, LauraLee Sciabica, James Mutter, Victoria Bucknall, and Thomas Mutter, along with their spouses; and her beloved nieces, nephews, and their children.

Tracy will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the traditions she created, and the way she made everyone around her feel at home. Tracy found her greatest joy in bringing people together. She loved hosting parties and gatherings, decorating her home for every season, and creating spaces where family and friends always felt welcome. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Tracy’s memory to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, an organization that was meaningful to Tracy and her family in honor of her father, who was affected by Parkinson’s disease.

Tracy's Celebration of Life will be held August 1, 2026 at Boathouse on the Bay in Long Beach. The family invites anyone who knew her to stop by for the Open House Reception between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m. to share stories, raise a glass, and celebrate all the things most loved about Tracy.
