Tom Murata

Tom Murata was born on November 25, 1921, in El Monte, California. He was the middle son of Shinichi Fujimi Murata (Yamaguchi Ken, Japan) & Chi Murata (Kekaha, Kauai, HI). Tom passed away June 28, 2013 at the age of 91. He was a long time resident of Los Angeles, California. He is survived by his wife Gwen, his sister & brother, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, along with numerous nephews & nieces.... he was blessed. Tom was a WWII veteran and worked most of his life as a carpenter/contractor. Up until his illness, Tom faithfully served the Lord in any way possible. Even through many years of health challenges he served the Lord as an intercessor. He will be greatly missed, Jesus called home his faithful servant.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 12, 2013 at Forest Lawn Hollywood 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Loa Angeles, CA 90068. It will be at the Old North Church-Viewing: 5:00-6:15pm Service: 6:30-7:30pm Light Refreshments Following.
Private Burial will be on Saturday, July 13, 2013.
