Tobitha Ella Stringer

Tobitha Stringer died at age 99 on August 23, 2017 in Los Angeles, CA. Tobitha Burns Stringer was born in Kitanning, PA. July 26, 1918. Her parents were May Titus Burns and Samuel Burns. She was married to Albert Stringer who preceded her in death in 1973. She leaves two daughters, Dianne Stringer and Darlene Lazaro both in Los Angeles, CA. and a son, David Stringer in Cleveland, OH.

She leaves behind four grandchildren, Michelle Villa and Jason Lazaro, both in Los Angeles, CA and Alec and Ian Stringer both of Cleveland, OH. She has one great grandson, Diego Villa of Los Angeles, CA.

She is survived by one sister, Florence Vukulich of Youngstown, OH. Her brothers, Spurgeon Bowser and Sidney Bowser and sisters, Margret Taylor, Christine Zicard, Stella Pavlick, Lottie Walker and Charlotte Davanzo preceded her in death.

Before moving to Los Angeles, CA, Tobitha lived in Cleveland, OH and Niles, OH where she worked in retail for many years at W.T. Grant Co. and Carlisle-Allen Co.
