Born in Methuen, MA, son of Arthur and Sandra (Rivard) Linehan, he was raised in South Lawrence and attended Lawrence Public Schools.
Tim graduated from Greater Lawrence Regional, Vocational and Technical High School and was first employed for eighteen years as a mechanic and later as a service writer for Bournival Chrysler-Plymouth of Lowell. His funeral service will follow at at 5:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, The Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston or to the local MSPCA of the donor's choice.
