Timothy Anton Boland lived a life marked by dedication, love and accomplishment. Born on November 29, 1947, in Winona Minnesota to Lawrence and Dorothy Boland. His journey took him from the Midwest to the West Coast, where he built a legacy of service, career success, and family devotion.
Growing up in Winona, Timothy’s early years were shaped by the values instilled by his parents. As the eldest son in the family, he learned the importance of hard work and responsibility from a young age. His formative years in Minnesota provided the foundation upon which he would later build his life.
In his adolescence, Timothys family relocated to California, where he completed his high school education at San Gabriel Mission High School in 1966. It was durning this time that he began to demonstrate his strong work ethic, balancing his studies with part-time employment at Home Savings of America. This early exposure to the financial sector would later shape his career path.
After high school, Timothy pursued higher education at California State University, Los Angeles, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in 1973. Armed with his education, he embarked on a six year commitment to serve in the Army National Guard, demonstrating his dedication to both his country and community.
Following his military service, Timothy returned to civilian life and resumed his career in the banking industry. He rose through the ranks, eventually establishing himself as a Senior Vice President in charge of residential lending. His expertise and leadership were instrumental in shaping the success of Home Savings of America.
However, it was at Logix where Timothy truly found his professional home. Joining the company, he contributed his talents and knowledge to the organization, ultimately retiring in December 2015 after years of dedicated service.
Amidst his professional achievements, Timothy’s greatest joy came from his family. He married the love of his life, Sandra Boland, on November 24, 1974, and together they raised two daughters, Christina and Colleen. His role as a father was one of unwavering love, support, and guidance, shaping the lives of his children and grandchildren in profound ways.
With five grandchildren-Chloe, Dean, Haven, Regan and Carter-Timothy cherished every moment spent with them, passing on his wisdom and creating lasting memories.
Outside of work and family, Timothy found solace and joy on the golf course. A member at Via Verde Country Club, he relished in the camaraderie of the sport, often playing alongside his friends and beloved wife.
Sadly, Timothy’s journey was cut short by Leukemia, and he passed away on February 17, 2024. On his daughter Christina’s 41st birthday. His loss was deeply felt by all who knew him, but his legacy of love, integrity, and perseverance lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.
In Remembrance of Timothy Anton Boland, his life serves as a testament to the power of hard work, dedication, and the enduring bonds of family. He will be dearly missed but fondly remembered. Rest in peace Dad. He is survived by his loving wife Sandra, his two daughters Christina and Colleen, his Son-in-Law Jake and his wonderful Grandchildren.
